 HALL  OF  HOLLOW  SOULS: Explained

ELEVATOR
Feat. RONNIE REAPER

‘ELEVATOR’ is the first song I ever recorded in a professional studio back in 2020. Before this, I would just record in my bedroom, but this was the first time I feel someone really saw my potential.

At the time I was struggling with substance abuse so the song never came out. But now I am at a place I can say I am truly in a better stage in my life, I was finally ready to release it. I purposely put it at the end of the album to represent the end of a chapter in my life, so I can make peace with the past and start a new journey.

The song discusses how life is always in a flow state of ups and downs, but it’s about how you get through it which is what matters most. Karma is inevitable when you have lived a life of bad habits, but letting go and forgiving yourself so you can move onto something better is essential.

It talks about the concept of not knowing how to start all over again, but to not be scared, and putting the first foot forward is a step in the right direction. No one knows what’s around the corner, but nothing can be as bad as what was before.

RONNIE REAPER'S insight-

“This song is about the fight between my past and where I'm headed. Hurting & Healing.

I wrote this in 2020 and even though so much has changed, I am still dealing with the same war. Regardless, I’m still here.

This song is about looking up (staring into the light) and keeping the crown on, no matter how heavy it gets.

Most importantly, it is about remembering that when you're down, you’ll soon be up.“
