 HALL  OF  HOLLOW  SOULS: Explained

STAGNANT

Produced by RYINI

RYINI is a producer I have been listening to for a long time, but was never sober enough to utilise his work. Once I got to a point in my life where I was sober, I remembered the song and recorded to it straight way in 1 take.

The original song is called 'LAST BREATH', so I symbolised that as a meaning towards inevitable death. Whether you get sober or not, we’re all going to die one day.

"You know I’ve been falling forever into the ground".

It’s realising you finally got out of the hole, but now everyone else around you is still stuck in that lifestyle, and you will be met with a lot of resentment and jealousy. People will continue to try to drag you down as they do not wish the best for you, so you almost have to camouflage yourself in this new reality, and keep moving past it all and don’t look back. If you do, you will only end up back where you started or worse, dead.

You wish you could bring everyone with you, but everyone is on their own life path and that is something difficult to accept. When you get sober without the help of rehabilitation services, it literally feels like your the only one who exists in the world, but it’s also a very accomplishing feeling that you did it by yourself.
