SSIIXX sent me a folder of beats in 2025 before we linked up in the studio. At first, I thought this beat was too hype for me as I am quite a slow singer. But one day I was re-listening to the beats and thought 'fuck it’.

I recorded 'THE ROAD' in one take. The lyrics are about accepting that you can’t be with the person you love because it’s not healthy for either of you, whilst still remembering the good times like when you first met, and how they would remind you to stay alive and not self-sabotage.

They would always be there when you felt shit. But now you’re on your own life path and time is ticking away with every breath. So you kind of just get to a point that you put all the negative behind you and hope that they will still support you on your journey in life.

I knew this album would be bigger than any other project, so it’s saying

"I hope you’ll still be there for me on the road"

Because I am scared that I will be lonely again, even with accomplishing greater heights in my career.
