 HALL  OF  HOLLOW  SOULS: Explained

SELFS

Produced by SSIIXX

'SELFS' explores the acceptance of everything fucked up, and what has been lost as result of a self-destructive lifestyle. It talks about withdrawal and post self-harm, and how people perceive you with fear, when they see the colour drained from your skin after surviving a suicide attempt.

Being antisocial is a key factor in this song. You don’t want anyone to see you at your lowest. You feel guilty that you even survived. But you still have love in your heart, even if just a little, so that forces you to keep going for the people you care about.

It talks about remembering that your still alive for a reason, so with the time you have left, you try your hardest to make up for ur mistakes and get to a point where you're now able to help others without judgement.

Even if you keep on relapsing, each time you come back better, so the song reminds the listener to not give up. It reminds them to remember back before all the drugs, all the trauma, when you was just an entity with dreams and aspirations, when the world was your oyster.

"Remember your selfs".

Even after this realisation, the fear of dying alone is still your worst fear. Heartbreak is inevitably what you have to let go of to get past it all.
